Erkut's layout is called "Bayland" and is completely fictitious, located near the west coast of Turkey he imagines.
Erkut has put 2 years into this and Bayland is finally finished! The layout runs around a room about 3x2.5 meters.
Detailing, as you all are, has become a way of life to me. I become irritated if I do not weather or paint a part even if its not seen by the public and never will be seen ever.

Forum Member "Darth Aggro"
Probably some of the best Rust pitting around done by mtw Forum Member "Darth Aggro" Some might say many of his works look the same from project to project, well, for me that's consistancy and his signature style with the fades and the rust with his extra special gashes and pits. I'm just happy that someone can turn out a car as fast as he does and it doesn't look rushed. All of Aggro's works are well worth whatever he sells them for and your getting a great model. You will find that in this particular niche of the model railroading hobby, there are only a few that are able to produce results such as Darth's box or Gary's, Rodney's and Jeremy's works below. If you have not joined the mtw Forum yet, Join Today and there's your chance to talk with these guys. They are the best at what they do and continue to raise the bar here at modeltrainsweathered.

Forum Member "Chester" Does it again! Just a great eye for Vehicle Weathering, absolutley the best, in fact, mtw member "Deadtrack" and "Chester" are the Dynamic Duo in not only weathering vehicles, but also in scratch builds and kit bashing. These fellas put up museum quality works. This Mack DM is a solid resin casting from Ralph Ratcliffe Models on a stretched Athearn frame. Fuel tanks, battery box and air cleaner on truck are also from Ralph. And to keep it all from Ralph, the gravel trailer is his newest kit in resin. a quick and nicely detailed build.

One of the great things about O scale is the size! I have been working with a good friend to try an develop some interiors and here is one based on the Evans belt system. The interior panels basswood and made on a laser cutter, then painted.

Video
Hey everyone, I recently added the 4th Video to the right, weathering the bottom bays of my Hopper, and while I was encoding
everything, I finally figured out the correct way to convert everything down with no digital artifacts, and so I went back to the
last 3 videos and re-encoded all of them for you. I hope you all are enjoying the new look of modeltrainsweathered.com.
It's amazing the talent that is out there, and I thank you all for finding this site as many of you have said, a breath of fresh air.
I'm glad your enjoying the community that has grown here over the last six years. So Fall is near, and I can already see the
potential "Model of the Year" awards from many of you guys. See you in the Forum. Thanks again, Rich Divizio
